To Kill a Movement is a powerful exhibition by the Myanmar Peace Museum, supported by Amnesty International, documenting the creative resistance of Myanmar’s protest movement since the 2021 military coup.
Through photography, video, installation, music, clothing and found objects, the exhibition reveals the realities of five years of military rule, during which thousands of civilians have been killed and many more imprisoned.
The exhibition features striking images from the front lines of Myanmar’s conflict, alongside personal artefacts including a handwritten poem and clothing belonging to the late poet and activist K Za Win, who was killed during protests in 2021.
Presented in London for the first time at Hoxton Arches, the exhibition is both a memorial and a testament to the resilience, courage and creativity of the Myanmar people.
23–31 May 2026
- Opening: 23 May, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- 24–30 May: 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM

L’AGE D’OR is a contemporary interpretation of the themes inherent in the French surrealistic film “L’Age d’Or” directed by Luis Bunuel in collaboration with Salvador Dali.
Themes such as: humanization, destruction, confusion, passion, fear, oppression and isolation.
The next exhibition will bring together over fifty British & international artists to reflect on the questions:
What would Bunuel’s L’age d’or look like today?
In what kind of “Golden Age” do we live?
FRIDAY 1 MAY
THE GRAND OPENING
7:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Surrealistic Masquerade Party | Live Performances

We are thrilled to present “Uncultivated Gods”, a new exhibition by painter Kevin Kane, exploring modern devotion: the powers we serve, the idols we normalise, and the beliefs we rarely question. Through paintings, sculpture, installation, and live performance, Kane interrogates the rituals and structures that shape contemporary life.
The exhibition previews on 19 February with a live performance piece, before transitioning into a DJ set. The preview promises to be ritualistic, communal, and deliberately excessive, with playful hints of queerness. A private view will also take place on the 19th.
The exhibition is open to the public from 19 to 24 February, 11am – 6pm.
About the artist: Kevin Kane is a painter whose practice spans multiple mediums, combining bold visual narratives with immersive, often provocative performances. His work challenges viewers to reconsider what we revere and the systems we take for granted.

Last week we hosted a surprise pop-up with @opake_art and @olaoluslawn 🔥
CEASE AND DESIST was a one-day-only exhibition bringing together two of the most unfiltered voices in UK art. No build-up, no promo — just raw work, big energy, and a packed-out crowd.
Big thanks to Opake and Slawn for choosing Hoxton Arches as the space to bring it all to life — and to everyone who came through and made it what it was.
